KEYGAN BOESIGER

uh... WHO?

Keygan grew up in Beatrice, NE.  He was constantly around music from a very early age.  After taking private piano lessons throughout elementary school, Keygan began playing percussion in 5th grade.  He participated in several vocal and instrumental ensembles throughout middle school, high school and college.  He was a 4 year member of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's percussion ensembles and Cornhusker Marching Band, his last year serving as the snare line section leader.  Keygan also participated in indoor percussion as a member of Dojo Percussion, a 2 time top ten finalist in PIO at WGI Finals in Dayton, OH in 2011 and 2012.

During and following his time at the University and Dojo, Keygan began teaching several high school percussion groups and private students in the Lincoln/Omaha area.  Most recently, he spent the last 3+ years in Lubbock, TX as a freelance percussionist which included roles as an itinerant instructor within the Coronado school system, a drumset/keyboard instructor at Guitar Center and a regular orchestra member with Moonlight Musicals.

Currently, Keygan lives in Omaha and works with Lincoln Southwest HS, Papillion La-Vista South HS, is the assistant director of LPS's PANgea steel band and is beginning to get a private studio going.
